Every year thousands of people suffer brain damage as a result of near death due to myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, attempted suicide, choking, and other tragedies.

HBOT may help the brain to recover from these conditions if administered shortly after the initial brain injury occurs.

The more time that elapses, the less effective HBOT becomes. In our experience of treating a handful of patients in persistent vegetative state, no improvement has been made after 40-80 treatments.

There are reports on the internet of substantial results but I have not yet experienced this.
